System Updates: Automated Sync for Portable Abstract Book

We are thrilled to announce a significant enhancement for Portable Abstract Books hosted on our servers: a new automated deployment option designed to save you time and eliminate hassle.

While the original manual process for updating the Agenda, Book of Abstracts, and Authors Index remains available, we have introduced this automated alternative in response to client requests for more frequent, seamless updates right up until the day of the event.

For projects utilising our hosting, we have introduced a brand-new, automated Sync/Update button that provides an efficient alternative to manual file management.

How it works: Administrators can now simply specify the target deployment URL for their respective projects directly within the interface. Upon clicking the update button, the system will automatically:

• Fetch the latest data payloads directly from the SL-API.
• Generate the updated files.
• Push and overwrite these files at the designated hosting location via the backend.
