How to Configure the External Link for Automatic Redirection in Abstractlogic

Steps to Configure Automatic Redirection to an External Page

1. Sign in to Abstractlogic

   • Use your credentials to log into the Abstractlogic system.

2. Select Your Project

   • From the dashboard, select the project you wish to configure.

3. Navigate to Abstract Settings

   • On the left-hand menu, select "Parameters".
   • From the list of parameter options, choose "Abstract Settings".

4. Access External Page Settings

   • Within "Abstract Settings", go to the "External page" tab.

5. Configure External Link Redirection

   Automatic Redirection:

   • Toggle the "Use external link" option to YES.
   • Toggle the "Redirect automatically to external/internal page" option to YES.
   • Enter the desired external page URL in the "External link" field.
   • Click "Save" to apply your changes.

   Manual Redirection:

   • Toggle the "Use external link" option to YES.
   • Toggle the "Redirect automatically to external/internal page" option to NO.
   • Enter the desired question for manual redirection in the "Link question to external/internal page" field (e.g., "Would you like to visit the conference website?").
   • Enter the desired external page URL in the "External link" field.
   • Click "Save" to apply your changes.

6. Using Internal Templates for Redirection:

   • For both external and internal redirection, you can now use internal templates.
   • Toggle the "Use internal web page" option to YES.
   • Select a template from the "Internal templates" dropdown menu.
   • This allows you to choose a template that is built in the "Document template" option from the "Parameters" left-hand menu.

7. Opting Out of Redirection:

   • If you do not wish to use the external redirection feature:
     • Set "Use external link" to NO.
     • Set "Redirect automatically to external/internal page" to NO.
     • Click "Save" to ensure no redirection occurs.
