Data Synchronisation in the Hosted Portable Book of Abstracts

Shocklogic offers an improved system for seamlessly synchronising programme and abstract data for the generation of the Portable Abstract Book (PAB). This update provides greater flexibility in the PAB's configuration, ensuring that data is transferred accurately and efficiently.

Multi-Server Architecture Support:

To support diverse deployment environments, the module now features dynamic server selection. Organisers can effortlessly toggle their target sync server directly from the interface, adapting to the specific hosting requirements of each event.

Reliability and Data Integrity: Ensures that the very latest accepted abstracts and programme updates are securely mirrored to the target destination in real-time, removing intermediary manual steps.

Visualisation

1. Navigate to Data Sync settings Go to Parameters > Portable Abstract Book Settings > Data Sync.

2. Select and confirm your server Select your Target Server from the drop-down menu and confirm the change when prompted.

3. Fill in the required fields Enter the necessary details into the following fields:

• Project Folder Path: The directory where the PAB is hosted.

• Shocklogic API Key: Your API key.

4. Start the synchronisation Click "Synchronise Data Now" to securely execute the process.
