How to Customise the ePoster Viewer: Hiding Title, Download button, and Zoom

This article guides you through the new configuration options available in ePoster Management. These settings allow you to customise the end-user experience within the ePoster viewer by controlling the visibility of the abstract title, the download button, and the zoom functionality.

Accessing the Settings

To configure these options, navigate to the ePoster Management interface in the Abstractlogic module.

1. Go to Parameters.

2. Select ePoster Management.

Configuration Options

The following options are available as toggle switches. By default, all features are set to ON (visible/enabled).

1. Hide Abstract Title

You can now choose whether to display the abstract title within the ePoster viewer.

• How it works:

  • ON (Default): The abstract title is displayed to the ePoster.

  • OFF: The abstract title is hidden from the ePoster viewer.

2. Disable Poster Download

This setting controls whether the "Download" button is visible to end-users viewing the ePoster.

• How it works:

  • ON (Default): The download button is visible, allowing users to save the image.

  • OFF: The download button is removed, preventing direct downloads from the viewer.

3. Disable Zoom Functionality

You can restrict the ability to zoom in on the ePoster image.

• How it works:

  • ON (Default): Users can zoom in and out of the ePoster.

  • OFF: The zoom function is disabled; the poster remains at a fixed size.
