New Options for the ePoster Viewer

We’ve introduced new configuration options within ePoster Management to give you greater control over how ePosters are displayed to your participants. These updates allow you to tailor the viewer experience based on your event’s presentation guidelines, branding preferences, or content protection requirements.
 

All new options are available within Abstractlogic (AL) and can be managed directly from the ePoster Management interface.

1. Hide Abstract Title

• Why this update matters: When this setting is enabled, the abstract title will no longer be visible to end-users in the ePoster viewer. This is useful for events that prefer a cleaner presentation or have specific presentation requirements that exclude the title in the viewer interface.
• How to use it: A new toggle/switch has been added to the ePoster Management interface to control this setting.
  • ON (Default behaviour): The abstract title is visible.
  • OFF (New option): The abstract title is hidden in the ePoster viewer.

2. Disable Poster Download

• Why this update matters: When this setting is enabled, end-users will not be able to download the ePoster image. This is useful for events that wish to prevent the distribution of ePoster content.
• How to use it: A new toggle/switch has been added to the ePoster Management interface to control this setting.
  • ON (Default behaviour): The download button is visible.
  • OFF (New option): The download button is hidden in the ePoster viewer.

3. Disable Zoom Functionality

• Why this update matters: When this setting is enabled, end-users will no longer be able to zoom in on the displayed ePoster image. This is useful for events or presentations where maintaining a fixed, full-view presentation of the ePoster is preferred or required for consistency.
• How to use it: A new toggle/switch has been added to the ePoster Management interface to control this setting.
  • ON (Default behaviour): Zoom is enabled.
  • OFF (New option): Zoom is disabled in the ePoster viewer.
