In Participantlogic as well as Abstractlogic and Memberlogic, there is a way for you to grant access to people in your company or your client and limit their access to it.
This can be achieved using what is called User Roles.
You first need to create the user and make it a standard User.
Give access to a specific project if needed, or give him/her access to all projects. Please see this video on how.
Once you've done that you need to follow these steps
You need to go to Roles and create a new Role with these settings.
The options available on this screen are as follows:
- Enable Summar: This will enable/disable the link to open the person's summary by clicking on the person's id.
- Enable Edit Summary: This will enable/disable the edit buttons inside the persons summary.
- Enable Edit Form: This will enable/disable the links to the persons form.
- Enable Intro Page: Enable/disable View Database to be the intro page once they login to the project.
- Enable Delete Payments: With this you can disable the option to delete payments.
- Enable Horizontal Menu: Enable/Disable the horizontal menu in Participantlogic or Abstractlogic.
- Enable Vertical Menu: Enable/Disable Vertical menu.
Then go to Role Menu Items to assign a menu item to the Role you just created, like this
After this, you can assign a user to this role, like this:
Once you create a Role like this, the user will only be able to see View Participants.
He will see only Complete participants/abstract/members, he will be able to open the Persons Summary but he won't be able to edit, email or do any update.
