Hi there,
There are many basic fonts and custom fonts available on the internet, however, not all fonts are supported by all email applications such as Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird and other such email clients.
Having done some googling specifically on Custom Google Fonts and Gmail Fonts we found the following:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39144407/how-to-use-custom-font-in-gmail#answers-header
https://stackoverflow.com/
We are now clear that the supported Gmail fonts are:
Arial
Century Gothic
Courier New
Garamond
Georgia
Helvetica
Impact
Lucida
Times New Roman
Tahoma
Trebuchet
Verdana
Arial
Century Gothic
Courier New
Garamond
Georgia
Helvetica
Impact
Lucida
Times New Roman
Tahoma
Trebuchet
Verdana
Meaning no matter the custom font (yes, even if it's a Google Custom Font) Gmail will not show it correctly instead it will replace the custom font with what it believes is the closest matching one stated in the list above.
I would advise using one of these fonts in the email content created within Shocklogic system for any emails being sent from within the system.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
There is the option to have the custom font in the email itself, and whilst within the email client such as Gmail, Thunderbird, Outlook and others, the font may not look as you desire, if you include the "View in browser" option the email will open in a web browser displaying the fonts exactly as you desired.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you need us to make any other changes before sending out the email.
