Multiple abstract texts and attachments per presentation type

Previously in Abstractlogic, you could allow multiple attachment types for abstract submission, but it was not easy to control how these attachments were uploaded. For example, you could tell the system you wanted to allow four attachments and that they could be image files or PDFs, but you could not specify how many of each file type you wanted. We have now improved this functionality.

To set up the abstract text, go to the menu item Parameters and then navigate to  Abstract Text Settings and add the abstract texts that you need for your event. 

From section Parameters and then navigate to Abstract Attachments, you can configure the attachments that you desire, specifying their size, type, and whether or not they are required.

Once you have configured all abstract texts and attachments, you can select which one will be used depending on the presentation type.

To do this, go to the menu item Parameters and then navigate to Abstract settings and select the Presentation settings tab. Select the option Page 2 and from the dropdown Place Presentation type, as shown here.

To finish the setup, go to the menu item Maintenance and then navigate to Presentation types and edit or create the desired presentation type by configuring the texts and attachments that the presentation needs.

At this point, you can also configure a maximum number of characters or words for abstract texts included in the selected presentation type.
