Scanlogic has two key functions:
- Access Tracking - This is when you will have a number of sessions or tours where you wish to identify who went to those sessions or tours regardless of if that participant booked that session as part of the registration process.
Also, you can track attendance in general for each day (e.g. Monday Arrivals). - Access Control - This is when participants have selected options to attend a session(s) or a tour or the evening dinner taking place during the event (paid for or free) and only if they have booked this and fully paid for it should they be allowed to access that session or venue or coach.
When onsite these both require devices to be configured and be used to start scanning. For this, we need to source devices. There are 3 key ways to source the devices:
- Hire them from Shocklogic
- Hire them from an equipment provider
- Allow your scanning staff to use their own devices
The device specifications are as follows:
- iPhone 7 or above
- Android version 8.0 or above

iPod 6th Gen (or newer)

iPad Pro 10.5" or 12.9
All the above devices must have:
- A working camera
- Wifi or Celular data available to connect to the internet
Apps to be installed on the device:
- For all Andriod devices, Google Chrome must be installed
- For all Apple devices, the latest version of safari is sufficient,
Things to note:
- Power for the phones whilst onsite
- Spare phones whilst onsite
