Managing Questions in the Q&A: 

When a delegate posts a question (image 1) in the session it will appear on the left hand side of your Slido panel. (image 2)

This area is only seen by you as the moderator

Once you receive the question into this area, you can choose how you want to handle the question.

You can either accept the question

Or you can choose the decline (with other options)

The other options when you click on the cross are:

• Edit
• Private Reply
• Delete

When you choose Edit, this allows you to see the question and make any amendments that you think are necessary in order to make the question visible to the live area. Once you make the amendments, you click SAVE.

If you then want to push the question live, you click on the check / tick icon

Private reply allows you to communicate with the person asking the question.

Delete will remove the question. This is useful if you do not have time to edit questions or remove any possible junk or spam questions

If you have a question you want the audience to see, you click the accept / tick icon and this moves the question to the right hand pane

From here you can promote or move a question from the bottom to the top by clicking on the double arrows beside the question. 

This then moves the question above the other

This will be the audience view of the questions:

The audience can also promote the questions by upvoting the question by clicking the thumbs-up icon

When the question has been answered you can remove the question from the right hand panel by clicking on the tick icon

Once you click on the icon the question will move to the archived section where you can download it later
