Can I add a link that unsubscribes the recipient from the mailing list in an email template?

Yes, it is possible by taking these steps below to ensure that the recipients choose the subscription plan that they want to be included in, or even unsubscribe completely from the mailing list.

Please follow the steps below:

1) The first step you need to do is to go to the left-hand menu and click on  Select Fields now navigate to  " Activity Groups", then create a new activity group by filling the affiliated fields, in this case, we will need to fill out 

• Activity group ID.
• Group name.
• Caption for forms.
• Input type. preferably "Radio buttons"
• Input placement
• Placement member form. fill this caption if you need to display the subscription plan in the form.

2) The next step is to select from the left-hand menu click on  Select Fields now navigate to Activities", then create a new activity and fill out the affiliated fields, in this case, we will need to fill out.

• Activity Id.
• Activity name.
• Caption for forms.
• Activity group.
• Input type

And then click on 

 Remember to click save!

Note that I have created different activities as subscription plans and assigned them all the activity group GDPR!

 3) The last step is to implement these activities as subscription plans in your email template as follows:

• select any records, preferably a test record, then scroll all the way down and click on Email.

Then this window shown here will popup and you can link each activity with a text that you want it to be displayed in the email to the recipient so he/she can change his/her link to change the subscription plane as per their need.

1. Write the text in the body of the email that you want to display and link to the subscription plan.
2. Click on link after highlighting the text to link the activity to the fitting text.
3. A window with a title "Insert link will appear"
4. Click on "link as" to find your activities and link it together.
5. hover over add activity link to show you the list of activities.
6. Find the correct activity and click on it.
7. Finally, don't forget to save this template to use it letter on.

NOTE

Remember that if you want to send the emails in bulk you have to filter by an activity because some recipient might choose 2 activities were they choose in this case the first to receive all emails and the second one is not to receive any email.
